Welcome to our studio! We're so excited to have you join us!

Wear clothes you feel comfortable moving in and appropriate foot attire (dance shoes, jazz sneakers, leather-soled shoes, or even socks).  If and when you are ready to become a little more serious, we can order dance shoes for you in a wide array of styles.  In the meantime, you want to wear something that stays on your feet (flip-flops, slip-ins, and mules not recommended)!  Please no marking soles on our floor! (If you want more information about dance shoes, please take a look at our "Dance Shoes" section.) 

• Expect to be a student; which means you will be learning, and not always feel comfortable or confident with the new information you are given. We want our students to have a great time, but also give them a solid foundation based on good technique and foundational patterns and movements. We HIGHLY encourage you to bring a dance notebook to take physical notes after class about all the things you learned that day. Just like with any education, good note taking will help with memory retention!
• Expect corrections; as your instructors, it is our duty to make you into the best dancer we possibly can, and this can only be accomplished with good instruction, communication and corrections, and also coachable students.
• We expect our students to be attentive, focused, and come with a positive attitude and a spirit of collaboration with your fellow class mates so all can have a positive experience and learn.

We accept cash, check, and/or Venmo. Please make payments on your 1st day of each new session and only pay for the classes you will be attending for the rest of that session as any left over classes will not “roll-over” to the next session.  

We do not allow students to video during any of our classes (unless specifically requested to do so). We sometimes do a video wrap up for the end of class, but when we don’t, we encourage students to collaborate together to create their own video wrap up.
We appreciate you not posting or sharing our teaching content on social media or with others not in the class without our express consent.
